About Our Business

Created in 1998, Sicilian born Mr. Vito Accardi wanted to pass on
his family tradition of wine making, that he learned from his
grandfather, uncles and cousins. He learned his wine making
skills and traditions from them and decided to plant the grapes on
his 5 acre estate.

After 8 years of planting the imported grapes, Mr. Accardi and his
family decided to fully produce their own operation, by growing,
harvesting, and bottling their own wines.

In 2002, Mr. Accardi decided to open his wine making business to
the public to share his own unique quality blends of wine. Mr.
Accardi wanted to create something more unique to the public by
offering sulfite free wines, that are naturally fermented in his
custom stainless steel wines tanks, that he created from his
machine shop, General Machining.

The reason behind the sulfite free wines is because according to
more than 40% of the U.S. Population, most individuals are allergic
to the added sulfite (the preservatives) that most wineries contain
in their wines to preserve a longer shelf life. Accardi Vineyards
produces smaller quantaties of each wine varietal; therefore it
allows for us to be able to create natural tasting wines without
added preservatives, additives or chemicals.

Accardi Vineyards is a family owned operation, where Mr. Accardi
is in charge of producing the wines, along with his family
members and staff, wife Adelaide in charge of public relations,
daughter Cinzia in charge of accounting, sales and marketing
coordination, and son Alexander, who is responsible for
production, building maintenance, and delivery.
